The man who was killed by alligators when he went swimming in an infested East Texas bayou may have been a victim of the quality of education in Texas. You see, there was a sign:
No Swimming
Alligators
It has been suggested that faulty punctuation led the man to believe the sign indicated there were no alligators swimming in the bayou.
Although this is possible, I believe Occum’s Razor would suggest the man was just an idiot.
