It’s the Fiftieth Anniversary of my first serious reading of William Wordsworth and the Romantic Poets. I rapidly dropped all thoughts of a military carrier with all the advanced education in math, science and engineering. I gradually obtained my own set of the complete works of William Wordsworth, John Keats, Percy Shelley, Lord Byron, William Blake, S. T. Coleridge, and a few other major names in English poetry all the way up to Browning and Swinburne. For the next several years I studied Keats and Wordsworth with a foray into the mysticism of William Blake.
